Objects of the Bill

The object of the Bill is to amend the Competition and Consumer Protection Act, 2010 so as to ensure greater transparency and equity in the use of public resources by requiring fees collected by the Commission to be accounted for through the Consolidated Fund so as to form part of the general revenues of the Republic.
