An Act to continue the existence of the National Water
Supply and Sanitation Council and re-define its functions;
constitute the Board of the Council and provide for its
functions; provide for the regulation of water supply and
sanitation services; provide for the licensing of utilities;
promote access to sustainable water supply and sanitation
services; repeal and replace the Water Supply and
Sanitation Act, 1997; and provide for matters connected
with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
