The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – on the High - Level Engagements with Belgium, Sweden and Japan and Zambia’s participation at the 11th Summit of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States in Equatorial Guinea.
6. PRESENTATION OF GOVERNMENT BILL
The Minister of Technology and Science
The Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training - Bill to continue the existence of the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority and re-define its functions; re-constitute the board of the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority and re-define its functions; provide for the establishment and regulation of technical education, vocational and entrepreneurship training institutions; constitute management boards for public technical education, vocational and entrepreneurship training institutions and provide for their functions; constitute Councils for public polytechnics and provide for their functions; provide for administration of examinations; provide for the accreditation of training programmes, trainers, assessors and examiners; continue the existence of the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship training Fund and re-define its administration; constitute a Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Fund Committee and provide for its functions; repeal and replace the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Act, 1998; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing. 7. QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
340. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:
(a) whether the Government is aware that some agro dealers supplied sub-standard fertiliser in Chisupa and Bulilo Wards in Chilubi Parliamentary Constituency, during the 2025/2026 Farming Season;
(b) if so, what measures have been taken against the agro-dealers above;
(c) whether the agro-dealers at (a) will be allowed to supply fertiliser in the 2026/2027 Farming Season and subsequent seasons; and
(d) what measures the Government is taking to prevent the recurrence of the supply of sub-standard fertiliser.

Adopt Report of the Committee on Parastatal Bodies: That this House adopts the Report of the Committee on Parastatal Bodies on the Report of the Auditor General on the Accounts of Parastatal Bodies and other Statutory Institutions for the Financial Year Ended 31st December, 2024, for the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on Monday, 4th May, 2026.
