The Public Service Pensions - Bill to continue the existence of the Public Service Pensions Fund Board, re-name it as the Public Service Pensions Fund and re-define its functions; re-constitute the Board of the re-named Public Service Pensions Fund and re-define its functions; continue the existence of the membership, contribution and benefit structure under the Public Service Pensions Fund and name it as the Public Service Pensions Scheme; establish the Occupational Pensions Scheme; continue the existence of the Public Service Pensions Fund, in relation to its property component, and re-name it as the Pensions Fund; establish the Occupational Pensions Fund; provide for the collection of pension contributions; provide for the payment of benefits; provide for the actuarial valuation of the Public Service Pensions Scheme and Occupational Pensions Scheme; repeal and replace the Public Service Pensions Act, 1996; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
