7. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
319. Mr C Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:
(a) whether the Government is aware that some residents of the following areas in Kamfinsa Parliamentary Constituency continue to receive water bills despite not receiving water supply:
(i) Ndeke;
(ii) Ndeke Village; and
(iii) Changa Changa;
(b) if so, whether the Government intends to cancel the bills referred to, above;
(c) when the intended measures will be implemented; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
320. Mrs Chonya (Kafue) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade the following roads in Kafue Parliamentary Constituency, to bituminous standard:
(i) township roads within Kafue Town;
(ii) the feeder road from Linda Junction via Chikupi and the New Baobab Multi-Facility Economic Zone to the junction on the Lusaka - Livingstone (T2) Road in Kafue Town; and
(iii) the Chirundu - Leopards Hill - Lusaka Road (under the Link Zambia 8000 Road Project);
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(c) what the estimated cost of the projects, is; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
8. PRIVATE MEMBERS’ MOTIONS

Recapitalise the National Health Insurance Management Authority: That this House urges the Government to recapitalise the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) in order to prevent it from collapsing.
Mr Chanda
Establish an Environmental Court within the High Court: That this House urges the Government to establish an Environmental Court, within the High Court, to adjudicate on matters relating to environmental protection, conservation and sustainable resource management.

Adopt Report of the Committee on National Guidance and Gender Matters: That this House adopts the Report of the Committee on National Guidance and Gender Matters on the Gender-Responsive Climate Change Policy Frameworks in Zambia, for the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on Friday, 17th April, 2026.
