Suspend Standing Orders: That Standing Orders 27(2) and 123 of the National Assembly of Zambia, Standing Orders, 2024, be suspended to enable the House to complete all Business on the Order Paper and all matters arising therefrom, and also to consider more than one stage of a Bill, on Friday, 20th March, 2026, and on such completion, the House adjourns sine die.

6. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
258. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government is aware that pregnant mothers who give birth on their way to the health facilities in Chinsali District are charged K300.00 upon arrival; and
(b) if so, what the rationale for the charge, is.
259. Mr Ngoma (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to facilitate the opening of a fuel filling station in Lumezi District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
260. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to provide the following institutions in Chilubi District with sports equipment and attire:
(i) Chilubi Mainland Boarding School;
(ii) Chaba Secondary School;
(iii) St Charles Lwanga Secondary School;
(iv) Mayuka Secondary School;
(v) Muchinshi Secondary School; and
(vi) Chilubi Nursing School;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
261. Mr Mwambazi (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:
(a) when the Government will fund the Kang’onga Production Centre in Kavu Ward in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) what the cause of the delay in funding the Centre, is; and
(c) what plans the Government has for the development of the Centre.
262. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
(a) how many kilogrammes of gold were produced, countrywide, from January, 2019 to August, 2025, year by year;
(b) what quantity of the gold above was procured and added to the Bank of Zambia Gold Reserves, from 2020 to 2024, year by year; and
(c) what contributions were made to gold mining by the Zambia Gold Company Limited from January, 2022 to August, 2025, year by year.
263. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) why Western Province has been recording the lowest
examination pass rate at Grade 12 level since 2021;
(b) what the major causes of the poor performance, are; and
(c) what measures the Government is taking to improve academic performance in the Province.
264. Mr Chonde (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a college of nursing in Milenge District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
265. Mr Simumba (Nakonde) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) when the construction of Nakonde Day Secondary School in Nakonde District will be completed;
(b) who the contractor for the project, is; and
(c) what the estimated cost for the outstanding works, is.
266. Mr Ngowani (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a level I hospital in Mpongwe Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(c) what the estimated cost of the project, is; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.

267. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) what the name of the contractor engaged to rehabilitate the Nambuluma - Chinsali Post Office road in Chinsali District is;
(b) what the cost of the project, is;
(c) when the works will commence; and
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project, is.
268. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Chinsali - Mulilansolo road in Chinsali District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
8. QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 81)
W3 Mr Munsanje (Mbabala) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) how much money, the Government received from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria from January, 2003 to August, 2025, year by year;
(b) how the funds at (a) were allocated to the following programmes, during the period above;
(i) HIV and AIDS;
(ii) tuberculosis; and
(iii) malaria;
(c) how many beneficiaries of the funds at (a), there were during the same period, for each programme;
(d) how much money the Government contributed to the Global Fund, during the period at (a);
(e) whether the Government has any plans to:
(i) apply for additional funding from the Global Fund; and
(ii) increase its contribution to the Fund;
(f) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(g) if there are no such plans, why.
