(a) when construction of the Mulumbi Bridge, across the Luela River in Milenge District, will commence; and

 

(b) what the cause of the delay in commencing the works, is.

 

 

174 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Information and Media:

 

(a) how many Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) officers there are in:

 

(i) Chinsali District; and

(ii) Muchinga Province;

 

(b) whether the number of officers above is adequate; 

 

(c) if not, when the Government will recruit additional staff to meet the shortfall;

 

(d) when the Government last provided equipment to the ZANIS office in Chinsali District; and

 

(e) when new equipment will be provided.

 

 

175 Mr C Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

 

(a) how much, of the following debt, the Government contracted from January, 2022 to August, 2025, year by year:

 

(i) domestic; and

(ii) foreign;

 

(b) what the outstanding debt above was, as of September, 2025; and

 

(c) what measures are being taken to settle the debt.

 

 

176 Ms Halwiindi (Kabwe Central) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Logistics:

 

(a) whether the Government will be receiving a portion of the annual revenue generated by the Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA), following the signing of the TAZARA Revitalisation Concession Agreement in September, 2025 with the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC);

 

(b) if so, what the percentage of the revenue, is;

 

(c) when the Government would start receiving the revenue above;

 

(d) whether the percentage of the revenue received, will be re-invested in TAZARA; and

 

(e) if so, what percentage will be re-invested.

 

 

177 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a sports complex in Chinsali District;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;

 

(c) what the estimated cost of the project, is; and

 

(d) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

178 Mr Kapyanga (Mpika) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct Small Piped Water Schemes in the following areas in Mpika Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Sekela in Lubambala Ward;

(ii) Chilonga Market, Mpandafishala, Kasenga and Mulongesha in Nachikutu Ward;

(iii) Chibansa, Mwamfushi and White in Chisabesonse Ward;

(iv) Chipunsu in Kapamba Ward;

(v) Kabuwa in Mutamba Ward;

(vi) Kuku in Makamba Ward; and

(vii) Chaya, Nabwalya, Chilima and Kalimba in Nabwalya 

Chiefdom;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

179 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

 

(a) what measures the Government is taking to prevent and control rabies in Chinsali District;

 

(b) whether there are any rabies vaccination programmes for animals in the District;

 

(c) how effective veterinarians are, in responding to cases of rabies in the District; and

 

(d) what public awareness programmes the Government has put in place to educate residents about the risks associated with rabies.
