113. Mr C Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa)  -  to ask the Minister of Tourism: 

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that some wildlife officers have staged a sit-in protest, demanding improved conditions of service;

 

(b) if so, what immediate measures are being taken to resolve the problem;

 

(c) whether there are any plans by the Government to improve conditions of service for wildlife officers; and

 

(d) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

 

Revise the Jurisdiction of the Local Courts under the Local Courts Act, Chapter 29 of the Laws of Zambia:  That this House urges the Government to Revise the Jurisdiction of the Local Courts under the Local Courts Act, Chapter 29 of the Laws of Zambia, so as to allow for administration of a deceased’s estate of a value up to K200,000.
