The Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development – On the traffic congestion around 10 miles on the Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway project.
8. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
58 Mr E Banda (Muchinga) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Isaninga Dam in Muchinga Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
59 Dr Andeleki (Katombola) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) when the Government will connect Moomba Chiefdom in Kazungula District to the national electricity grid; and
(b) what the estimated cost of the project is.
60 Mr S Banda (Petauke Central) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a modern correctional facility in Petauke District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
61 Mr J Daka (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
(a) how many Government owned abattoirs there were in Chadiza District, as of August, 2025; and
(b) what measures the Government is taking to ensure that slaughtering facilities in the District are conducive for the activity.
62 Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to complete the construction of the following hydro power stations, which have been abandoned in North Western Province:
(i) Muzhila; and
(ii) Kabompo;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(c) whether the plans will include engaging the private sector; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
